01 Please Read This First
The content on thepostureclinic.com (the "Site") is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, not a treatment, and not a substitute for an in-person evaluation by a qualified healthcare provider.
If you have a health concern, please consult a qualified healthcare provider · whether that is The Posture Clinic, your primary care physician, or another licensed clinician of your choice.
02 No Doctor-Patient Relationship From the Site
Visiting this Site, reading any article, watching any video, downloading any document, or submitting an application does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and The Posture Clinic, Dr. Mark T. Wade, Dr. Krista Burns, or any other clinician affiliated with the clinic.
A doctor-patient relationship is only established after (1) you complete a paid Patient Interview, (2) you are accepted as a patient, (3) you sign the clinic-issued patient agreement and consent forms in person, and (4) treatment begins.
Until those four steps are complete, nothing on this Site should be interpreted as personal medical advice for your specific situation.
03 Case Examples Are Composites
Every case example, patient story, before/after, and outcome figure shown on this Site is a composite. A composite case combines elements from several real patients with similar presentations into a single illustrative story. Composites are used so we can explain what we typically see · without identifying any individual patient.
Composite case examples are not testimonials. They are not predictions. They are not promises about what any individual patient will experience. They are teaching tools that show the kinds of presentations and the kinds of progress we see in our patient population.
Names, demographic details, and identifying features in any case example have been changed or generalized. Any resemblance to a specific real person is coincidental.
04 Individual Results Vary
Chronic pain, postural change, and functional recovery are deeply individual. Two patients with similar findings on assessment can respond differently to the same protocol because of differences in age, prior injuries, prior treatments, comorbidities, sleep, nutrition, stress, medication, adherence to home recommendations, and biology we cannot fully predict.
We measure carefully and we report what we measure. We do not promise specific outcomes. Any outcome figure, percentage, or range shown on this Site reflects what we have seen across our patient population · not a guarantee for any individual. Some patients improve substantially. Some patients improve partially.
Some patients do not improve. Not every applicant is a fit for our program. That is the truth, and we want you to hear it before you apply.
05 We Measure · We Do Not Promise
The Posture Clinic uses the Optimal Vitality Score (OVS) and its five underlying domains · IPS, FHS, MPS, DMS, and NCS · to measure where a patient is at baseline and to track change over time. This is how we know whether the program is working for a given patient.
Measurement is not a promise. It is a feedback loop. If the numbers move, we keep going. If they do not move, we adjust. If we cannot move them with the program we offer, we will tell you so · and we will help you find a different path.
Honesty about what measurement can and cannot do is part of the clinical relationship.
06 Not a Substitute for Professional Care
Information on this Site does not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare provider. Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified clinician with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this Site. Never start, stop, or change a prescription medication based on Site content.
Never start, stop, or change an exercise program, supplement, or rehabilitation protocol based on Site content alone.
If you are currently under the care of another provider for the condition you would like us to address, please bring that provider into the conversation before starting any program with us.
07 In an Emergency
This Site is not for medical emergencies.
If you or someone you are with is experiencing a medical emergency · including but not limited to chest pain, signs of stroke, severe shortness of breath, severe abdominal pain, sudden weakness or numbness, loss of consciousness, severe injury, suicidal thoughts, or any condition that feels life-threatening · call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately, or go directly to the nearest emergency room.
Do not contact The Posture Clinic for emergency care. We are not an urgent care, not an emergency department, and not staffed for emergencies.
08 Chronic Pain and Posture · Specific Notes
Chronic pain is complex. It involves the musculoskeletal system, the nervous system, prior injury history, sleep, stress, inflammation, beliefs, and behavior. No single intervention reliably resolves chronic pain for everyone. The Posture Clinic combines clinical chiropractic care, targeted neuromuscular retraining, postural and movement assessment, education, and home recommendations · because the evidence and our clinical experience both suggest that a layered approach helps more patients more of the time.
Posture is the visible signature of how the body is currently organizing itself against gravity. Changing posture meaningfully and durably takes time, repetition, and consistent effort from the patient. There is no quick fix. Programs that promise instant postural correction or permanent pain elimination after a handful of visits are not honest about the biology involved.
Our Pain Protocol and 12 Weeks to Better Posture program are described elsewhere on the Site. Read those descriptions carefully. If they do not match the kind of work you want to do, this is probably not the program for you · and that is fine.
09 Supplements and Home Recommendations
Some content on this Site discusses supplements, peptides, recovery tools, mobility work, and home self-care strategies. These are described for general education only. They are not personal recommendations for you.
Supplements and peptides can interact with prescription medications, can be contraindicated for certain conditions, and can vary widely in quality between manufacturers. Always discuss any supplement, peptide, or new home recommendation with your physician before starting · especially if you are pregnant, nursing, take prescription medications, or have a chronic medical condition.
Statements about supplements on this Site have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

11 Accuracy and Currency of Information
We make a reasonable effort to keep clinical content on the Site accurate and current. However, health science evolves. Articles, videos, and protocols on this Site may not reflect the most recent research or clinical practice at the time you read them.
If a clinical question matters to your care, ask us in person at the clinic · or ask your own provider · rather than relying on a Site article alone.
12 Changes to This Disclaimer
We may update this Medical Disclaimer from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted with a notice on the Site for a reasonable period.

The case examples on this site are composite illustrations built from common chronic pain patterns we see and the typical outcomes our program is designed to produce. They are not testimonials from specific patients. Individual results vary based on the severity of the condition, the patient's commitment to the program, and clinical factors. Past results are not a guarantee of future outcomes. All clinical decisions are made on a case-by-case basis by Dr. Mark T. Wade and Dr. Krista Burns after a full exam.
